This Tuesday, we went to Altenburg to attend the printing of Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian at DZA Druckerei zu Altenburg! After months of collaboration and editing, the pages of this beautiful volume came to life! The book celebrates the latest architectural endeavor of the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon: the new building of the Centro de Arte Moderna (CAM), designed by architect Kengo Kuma in collaboration with the landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic.

Through the lens of Erieta Attali, award-winning architectural photographer, the building and its surrounding landscape are captured in striking, atmospheric images that reveal the subtle interplay of form, light, and material. Her photographs—both precise and poetic—highlight how the building and garden create spaces for rest, interaction, and shared experience.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at DZA for their exceptional support and the fantastic print result. We’re thrilled with the outcome and can’t wait to hold the finished book in our hands. The publication will be available in stores on 1 May 2026.

With contributions by Erieta Attali, Vladimir Djurovic, Seng Kuan, Kengo Kuma, Andres Lepik, and Ana Tostões.
