The latest issue of the German magazine DETAIL features Google Bay View.

The project is considered Google’s “workplace of the future” and was designed by BIG Bjarke Ingels Group and Heatherwick Studio in collaboration with AKT II. 

The article gives insight into the complex and thoughtful design process involving an impressive repertoire of engineers, designers and architects while also being highly influenced by a hands-on Google Design team.  You will find interesting design facts about the spectacular rooftop landscape constructed with some 50,000 solar panels and the open space structure that has become iconic for Google.
